New Zealand helicopter pilots

Flying Officer T.K. Butler (nearest camera) and Flying Officer E.Y. Creelman carry out a pre-flight check of their Iroquois helicopter prior to an operation in South Vietnam, circa 1969. Although RNZAF pilots both men were attached to 9 Squadron RAAF. Flying-Officer Butler was later awarded the DFC for gallentry during operations in South Vietnam.
