Served in HQ Company 1st New Zealand Regiment/1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment 1961–1964. Returned to New Zealand mid–1964 before serving in Malaysia again, and doing the second tour to Borneo in 1966. Posted overseas with V4 Company to Vietnam in 1969–1970 as a Cpl. 6RAR history shows posted to Support Company. Died in Melbourne, Australia.
