Attached to Headquarters Vietnam Force (HQ V Force) for four weeks in July 1965 to cover the deployment of 161 Battery, Royal New Zealand Artillery (RNZA) and withdrawal of New Zealand Army Detachment (NEWZAD) as Public Relations Officer (PRO)/Photographer. Made another six trips to Vietnam from Singapore between March 1966 and July 1968.
