The VietnamWar website is digital history archive where you can contribute your memories and memorabilia of New Zealand and the Vietnam War. You will need to register to contribute.

Memories

Add your memory of the Vietnam War to the website. Refer to writing tips for help with writing your memory.

Photographs

You can upload your photographs directly to the site or email us at info@vietnamwar.govt.nz if you would prefer we did it on your behalf.

Audio and film

If you have any audio and film recording relating to Vietnam we'd love to hear from you. Sounds and moving footage from the past are a powerful way of igniting memories and helping others to understand events.

We may be able to convert your cassettes or film into digital form so they can be used on the website or, if you prefer, just added to the archive.

As a first step we suggest you email us at info@vietnamwar.govt.nz, or phone us at (04) 471 6444. This is just to let us know what you would like to contribute. We can then advise you on the best method for sending the recording to us.

Comments

Once registered, you can add comments at the end of memory pages or under any photographs on the site.
