Badge of the Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery. New Zealand gunners served in Vietnam with 161 Battery, July 1965 – May 1971. The battery was initially based at Bien Hoa air base with the US 173rd Airborne Brigade before being placed under operational control of the 1st Australian Task Force at Nui Dat.
