About Me:

I was with the 1st Battalion 83rd Artillery a US 8-inch and 175mm self-propelled Artillery Battalion. We were in Vietnam from 1966-1971. The 1/83rd was at Nui Dat nearby the 161 Battery of the Royal New Zealand Artillery from November 1966 until February 1968 when the 1/83rd moved north to I Corps where we remained until 1971.
