About Me:
Served with 161 Battery June 1968 to June 1969. Initially Section Commander Left Section, then FO with A Coy, 3 RAR and C Coy, 9 RAR. Also 1 ATF Artllery Liaison Officer with 18 ARVN Div Nov/ Dec 68, and AGPO 161 Battery April - June 69.
Remained in RF until late 1985 and served with 3 Field Regiment twice - 1970 to 1972 as Adjutant, and from 1979 to 1982 as BC 32(E) Battery (Training and Reinforcement Battery) and Regimental 2ic.
Lived in Wellington since retiring from Army; employed in training and tertiary education roles including over 17 years at The Open Polytechnic in course design and development areas.
Now retired and involved with RNZA Association and am a member of the RNZA Historic Trust.
Have a daughter Sarah (with 3 grandchildren) in North Canterbury, and a son Matthew (with 1 grand-daughter) presently at Linton as CO 16 Fd Regt.
