About Me:
I served in the regular force for 30 years 8 months before retiring and taking a job with a local authority in 1962. I did two tours to Vietnam as part of 161 Bty, RNZA. In 1966 I was part of the FO party with B Company 6RAR, and in 1969 was with the FCC with HQ 9RAR.

I joined the Army in January 1962, completing two tours to Vietnam as part of 161 Bty RNZA, in 1966 as part of the FO party attached to B Company 6RAR and in 1969 as part of the FCC with HQ 9RAR. I retired from the Army at the end of August 1992 to take a job in our local authority, where I still serve. I have recently completed an oral history recording with the Ministry of Culture and Heritage and Archives New Zealand as part of the MOU between EVSA and the Government and have a copy of my memoirs attached to the abstract, accompanying the tapes. I am a JP currently studying for my Dip RIM which I will finish before attemmpting the Judicial Justices course.
