Helen Kesha welcomes troops - 161 Battery parade, 12 May 1971

Not everyone shared the views of the protesters. Helen Kesha, from Ngāti Whātua waves a South Vietnamese flag as she welcomes home the troops.

The two NZSAS troopers in the back of the Land Rover facing the camera are Paul Shield (left) and John Tawhara (right). The soldier saluting his Cpl Wayne Holah.
